Overview
EC4MACS (European Consortium for Modelling Air Pollution and Climate Strategies) provided scientific and economic analyses for the review of the Thematic Strategy on Air Pollution in 2010/2011 and support the European Climate Change Programme to reach a better understanding of how greenhouse gas emissions can be reduced.
Contributions of EuroCARE
EuroCARE shared with ILR of Bonn University the task to develop a baseline (EuroCARE) and policy scenarios (ILR) for agricultural activities and markets, in particular regarding animal herds which are key drivers for GHG emissions from agriculture.
