Overview
For the Bioeconomy research project "MOD_GW_NW - Modelling and Design of socio-political decision-making processes for the establishment of sustainable Economic systems in industrial and developing countries" the Meta-Modelling has been succesfully made for the CGE "DART" and should now be done similarly for the agricultural sector model "CAPRI", too.
Responsibilities of EuroCARE
Development of the concept and discussion.
The core of the meta-modelling for the CAPRI system covers "classic" policy areas such as climate, nitrogen balance, trade and direct payments policies. Characteristic policies of the areas mentioned are introduced in CAPRI to calculate corresponding scenarios.
After the succesfull implementation of these basic scenarios the steps inbetween are varied and combined to create an "artificial" set of observations that can be used for the meta-modelling.
Based on the technical exploration the developed sampling procedure is applied on all scenario dimensions and their combinations.
