Objectives
Within its agicultural research line, the Insitute for Prospective Technological Studies (IPTS) supports DG AGRI providing market projections and impact analysies of agricultural policy and other exogenous changes on the main Europea agricultural and processed food commodities. The CAPSIM model (Common Agricultural Policy Simulation Model), which has been developed for the European Commission, is one of the modelling tools to analyse the Common Agricultural Policy on request of DG-AGRI. To be on line with the enlargement of Bulgaria and Romania, the database of the CAPSIM model shall be extended and updated. The aim of this project is the establishment of a database for use in agricultural sector modelling (CAPSIM model), including data for Bulgaria and Romania.
Tasks
The service is divided in three tasks:
Task 1: Written minutes of the kick-off meeting to clarify and agree all the requirements of the study
Task 2: Establishment of a database set for use in agricultural sector modelling and enlargement of the data set with Romania and Bulgaria
Task 3: Installation and training
